Where will I be working?

There are many different styles of pool facilities and each one is unique.   As a member of the lifeguard team, you may be asked to float from one pool to another and it's very important to understand that what you do at one pool may not be deemed appropriate at another pool. There are Homeowner Association Communities, Private Swim Clubs, Single-Guard Pools, and Multi-Guard Pools.

How do I get paid?

We issue paychecks every two weeks.

Do Lifeguards have legal obligations?

It is very important to understand that on top of your normal lifeguard responsibilities, all lifeguards have moral and legal obligations at the job site. Please make sure you fully understand these items before beginning your employment. By choosing to work for SwimAtlanta Pool Management - Gwinnett, you will be insured for Workman’s Compensation and Professional Liability.

  • Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road South.  Turn right onto Riverside Parkway . Exit right onto GA 316 west (towards Atlanta ). Exit onto Sugarloaf Parkway . Turn left at the top of the ramp across overpass. Turn right onto Cruse Road (McDonald's on the left). Turn left into SwimAtlanta parking lot - just before Burger King. Office is inside the pool and upstairs.

From Duluth HS area:

  • Take GA 120 east towards Lawrenceville. Turn right onto Sugarloaf Parkway . Cross over GA 316. Turn right onto Cruse Road (McDonald on the left). Turn left into SwimAtlanta parking lot - just before Burger King. Office is inside the pool and upstairs.

From Parkwview/Lilburn/Stone Mountain area:

  • Take GA 29 ( Lawrenceville Hwy. ) east toward Lawrenceville. Turn left onto Sugarloaf Parkway . Turn left onto Old Norcross Road . Turn right into SwimAtlant parking lot - just before Burger King. Office is inside the pool and upstairs.

From Brookwood/Snellville area:

  • Take Five Forks Trickum Road east toward Lawrenceville. Turn left onto Old Norcross Road . Turn right into SwimAtlant parking lot - just before Burger King. Office is inside the pool and upstairs.

From Grayson/Loganville area :

  • Take GA 20 north/west towards Lawrenceville. Turn left onto Sugarloaf Parkway . Turn left onto Old Norcross Road . Turn right into SwimAtlant parking lot - just before Burger King. Office is inside the pool and upstairs

From Dacula/Braselton/Hamilton Mill area :

  • Take GA 124 ( Braselton Hwy. ) east/south toward Lawrenceville. Turn left onto GA 20 ( Buford Drive ). Turn right onto GA 316 west (towards Atlanta ). Exit onto Sugarloaf Parkway . Turn left at the top of the ramp across overpass. Turn right onto Cruse Road (McDonald's on the left). Turn left into SwimAtlanta parking lot - just before Burger King.
